On September 7th, the Vancouver Office 365 user group hosted an interesting event at the Microsoft Vancouver campus with keynote speakers such as Mark Kashman (Senior Product Manager, SharePoint) and Karl Harriau (Senior Product Manager, Syntex) from Microsoft. This event was held in person with 70 people interested in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
The event kicked off with a keynote from Mark Kashman, giving a demo of Copilot and AI features that will be added to SharePoint and OneDrive. Then Karl Harriau talked about Microsoft Syntex and its capabilities with a live demo. After that, Lian Furlong (Gravity Union) showed a case study of using Purview record management in Microsoft 365, which was an interesting topic. At the end, the AMA was held and some swag were presented by Mark to the attendees.
The good news is that I am going to be added to the UG co-organizer team and we will host more events for those interested in Microsoft cloud technologies.
